SENATE President Vicente Sotto III yesterday bared his and Sen. Panfilo Lacson’s preferred candidates for the senatorial race in the 2022 national elections.
SENATE President Vicente Sotto III yesterday bared his and Sen. Panfilo Lacson’s preferred candidates for the senatorial race in the 2022 national elections.
Sotto said: “Narito po ang listahan ng mga kandidato para sa pagka-senador na aming napupusuan ni Sen. Ping. Naniniwala po kami na ito ang mga kandidatong karapat-dapat sa Senado.”
The Lacson-Sotto tandem supports the candidacies of six (6) NPC Members namely: Antique Rep. Loren Legarda, Sorsogon Gov. Chiz Escudero, Senator Sherwin Gatchalian, former Senator JV Ejercito, former QC Mayor Herbert Bautista, former DA Secretary Manny Piñol. Three (3) REPORMA members: Minguita Padilla, Monsour del Rosario and Powee Capino. Also included are Senators Migs Zubiri, Sen. Joel Villanueva, Sen. Richard Gordon, former Vice President Jejomar Binay and former DICT Secretary Gringo Honasan.
“Tulungan niyo po kami sa pagtaguyod sa kandidatura ng ating mga kaibigan. Nakakasiguro po kami na malaki ang maitutulong ng ating mga kandidato sa ating bansa, sa ating mga kababayan, at sa Senado,” Sotto said.
